Question 1

Are the PDF tools free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every tool marked “Live” is free to use, with files up to 25 MB and up to 5 files per task. Paid plans with higher limits and advanced tools are planned but not yet available — no payment is collected today.

Question 2

Are my files secure?

Accepted Answer

Our live tools run entirely in your web browser. Your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers. The site is served over HTTPS.

Question 3

How long are uploaded files stored?

Accepted Answer

For live tools, files aren't uploaded at all. Results exist only in your browser's memory and are cleared when you start over or close the page. When server-based tools launch, their temporary files will be deleted automatically after a short retention period, which we'll publish on our Security page.

Question 4

Can I compress a PDF?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Compress PDF offers three levels. We always show the real original and compressed sizes, and if a file can't be made smaller we tell you instead of giving you an unchanged copy.

Question 5

Can I merge multiple PDFs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Merge PDF combines up to 5 PDFs into one. Drag the files into the order you want before merging.

Question 6

Can I convert PDF to Word?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. PDF to Word needs a server-side conversion service to produce reliable, editable documents. The tool is listed as “Coming soon” and doesn't accept uploads until it works properly.

Question 7

Can I use the tools on mobile?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Powerful PDF Genius Hub works in modern mobile browsers on iOS and Android. Very large files may take longer to process on older phones.

Question 8

What file sizes are supported?

Accepted Answer

Free tools accept files up to 25 MB each. Password-protected PDFs need their password removed before most tools can open them.

Question 9

Does the site use cookies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We use essential storage to remember your preferences, and with your permission we use optional analytics and advertising cookies. You can control these choices in the cookie preferences banner. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Question 10

How does the site make money?

Accepted Answer

We display advertisements through third-party ad networks. Ads are clearly labeled and never disguised as download buttons or tool actions. A future Pro plan will offer an ad-free experience.
